Two Poems
by Rachel Lilim

if i could hold your soul

we saw what appeared
great, city-like, displacing vast quantities
of northern cold ocean,of black &
light filled sky. g-d played the world
like marching drums, put his fist
through skin.

imminent domain

g-d made the thundercloud bark
made the roaring engine-heart
mistake-factory, maliceful
sky warns the boats off bruisy, He
shrugs his shoulders, sharks
make the sand red. NO TOURISTS
