Two Poems
by Nicholas Forman

Rock Life

My groceries are under the bed
Cool down, black dot

Race to the wind tunnel
we argue on speaker about dirt politics
I get there first
An argument is kissing through the
wind tunnel
My hair failing
I forget I have groceries and buy the burger
These are my friends
tree huggers
We watch a baby possum at night
Take photos
Sleep off the excess

Summer School

My summer school had a baseball class
Where we’d talk about lunch, hit the ball
Then watch a movie
That’s how everything should be
Live a life, act a miniature
Then consume a memory
