I’m watching you on tv, & it’s all over the news, this
monsoon. They’re saying
it's a bad one.
Rare was the word
they used, & which now ter-
rorizes me.
The Hounds
the hounds don’t even
know yet but
every
milk-carton
kid
is
wrapped up
neatly
in their
neat blanket
and
the lights
are on
it’s
morning
