Three Poems
by Robyn Schelenz

DOVES

I don’t want to leave the house today
the backyard is wondering
what that means
and I am too

Outside doves are assembled
as if for a wedding

I guess it wasn’t meant
To be today

RAINY FAMILY DAY W/BABY

Eleanor holding the coffee table book

All the birds diving upside down

THAT TYPING NOISE

A little space in the morning
disappears

like paper!

the machines sit in the wind
the starlings hover over

the gum that falls out of your mouth
clings to the world for dear life
